The automated sun tracking system is based on a dedicated controller that analyzes the sun's position based on a light intensity sensor. The safety of the structure is taken care of by a wind strength meter, thanks to which the automation sets the panels in a neutral position when a predetermined wind speed threshold is exceeded. ThThe automation has a remote to manual control the tower.
The mechanical design is based on 3 towers with 2-axis actuators equipped with worm gears, which guarantee stable and maintenance-free operation in extreme weather conditions. Each tower has its own controller individually supervising the operation of the gearbox. The base is a frame in the form of a triangle with a side of 7.5 meters, which stabilizes the structure. Thanks to this solution there is no need to anchor the entire installation, which is set directly on the ground without the need for leveling. It is possible to add more towers.
